Often times we find that it is the "fear" of math that hinders many students from overcoming math challenges. At Math Varsity LLC, regardless of your child's current level of proficiency in math, our passion and goal is to develop your child's ability to approach and conquer mathematical concepts with confidence!! We test your child's mastery of math monthly and highly encourage the parent's involvement in the development cycle. We will provide monthly progress reports on each student. We use only qualified tutors who are actively pursuing math-related collegiate degrees  or who already possess  Bachelors or Master's degree in Math or Math-related field of study.

At Math Varsity, we understand that each student's learning "gap" will typically be unique to that particular student and that not every student will learn and retain at the same pace.  Therefore, we do not impose a standard curriculum or methodology on your child. Our first session begins with a detailed assessment of your child's response to math concepts within their respective grade level. Based on the results of the assessment, we identify and develop a customized curriculum/outline that will help to address your child's individual need(s). This outline will be provided to the student and parent.

GUIDE!
Our students undergo a fairly rigorous coaching cycle on HOW to approach math concepts. We do not solve the math problem for the student. Instead, we guide your child and help him/her to develop the critical thinking skills necessary to arrive at the solution to the math problem. We understand that math can be a challenging subject for some students however, with proper exposure to varying levels of explanations students can eventually grasp the most

PROGRESS!
At Math Varsity we offer tutoring services that provide the attention, time and focus that your child needs and will not receive in a much larger group setting.  It is for this reason we do not book large groups.  Our ratios range from 1 to 5 max to assure the highest level of efficiency in academic development.  Math Varsity prides itself on PROGRESS as the end result.  Therefore we incorporate an academic development monitoring system and encourage parental involvement by providing a monthly progress report.  This progress report will measure the student's development against the unique curriculum/outline created during the initial assessment phase.
